Reni at her core is a compelling performer (lending her multi-instrumental skills to Duncan Sheik, Joseph Arthur, and The Like) and formidable songwriter (collaborating with seasoned pros like Linda Perry and Howie Day). But not surprisingly, what most people remember about Reni is her unique, haunting voice.
In the years since the release of her major label debut Ready on Universal Motown, Reni has continued to expand her creative arsenal, making her debut as a visual artist at Bushwick Open Studios in 2014 and collaborating with music app Keezy on a series of instructional performance videos which have been viewed over 40,000 times on Vimeo. Her various creative offerings have been featured in Paste, NPR, the Sundance Film Festival and SXSW Interactive.
She can be found performing regularly in New York (both eponymously and with indie rock outfit Shining Mirrors), writing for her eco-blog Zero Waste Rockstar, and fronting retro-pop duo Fever High with bandmates Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne, Ivy) and Anna Nordeen.
